OUR SOCIETY

At Barre Society, our team is united by a shared belief—movement feels different when you feel connected. As we bring this new studio to life, we're gathering instructors who lead with heart, energy, and an authentic love for supporting one another.

Behind every playlist, pulse, and perfectly timed burned is a team that genuinely loves what they do. Each instructor brings their own style and spark, creating classes rooted in strength, belonging, and that feeling you carry long after you walk out the door.

Strong women, good music, and a whole lot of heart—that's our team.

SARAH

Founder & Barre Instructor

Your go-to coffee order (we're nosy):

I don't drink coffee. Shocking, I know.

What you hope people feel walking out of your class

strong, energized, and genuinely uplifted.

In one sentence, describe what being a part of Barre Society means to you:

To me, Barre Society means turning my passion into a home for movement, connection, and belonging-built on energy, strength, and showing up as you are.

What's your main character energy (describe your vibe this season of life)?

I'd like to call this season of life "grounded confidence." This season is about protecting my spirit, trusting my vision, and creating something that feels honest, elevated, and led from the heart.

What's your superpower outside of the studio:

My superpower is balancing mom life, wife life, and main-character energy (thank you MB for teaching me what this means)-fueled by chaos and love.

In one sentence what energy are you bringing into Barre Society:

I'm bringing grounded, heart-led energy that's strong, welcoming, and intentional.

What's one message or piece of advice that's stuck with you?

"Keep your chin up" (AM) and "it'll work itself out." (NM)

How would you describe your class in 3 words?
Fun, challenging, and empowering.

What do you hope clients feel when they leave your class?
I hope clients leave feeling strong, accomplished, and proud that they showed up for themselves. Taking time to move your body is something worth celebrating.

How do you like your coffee?
Iced vanilla latte with whole milk.

Heels, sneakers, or barefoot?
Flip-flops, always.

Your off-duty uniform:
Pretty much the same as my on-duty uniform—workout clothes. But otherwise, it’s jeans and a tank.

Fun fact most people don’t know about you:
When I’m not teaching, I work a 9–5 in Boston.

The move you love to hate:
Hip dips.

What’s one piece of advice that’s stuck with you?
When things start to feel uncomfortable in class and you want to stop, ask yourself: “Can I control this?” There are so many things in life we can’t control, but choosing to stay present, push through the challenge, and keep going is something we can. That mindset goes way beyond the workout

How would you describe your class in 3 words?

Intentional, Uplifting, Empowering

What do you hope clients feel when they leave your class?

I want clients to leave class feeling accomplished and reminded that they are stronger than they think. I want them to feel excitement for not only what they achieved that day but also for what is possible if they continue to show up for themselves.

How do you like your coffee?

Iced Latte with almond milk and honey!!! (SlackTide is an easy win right now)

Heels, sneakers or barefoot?

Preference will ALWAYS be some form of sneakers if possible.

Your off-duty uniform:

Off duty, you will probably find me in my on duty uniform. Just add a t- shirt or sweatshirt! Not sorry, just happy and comfortable.

If your class were a cocktail, what would it be called?

Espresso martini. We will feel energized and capable of ANYTHING.

One song guaranteed to make you turn the music up:

Fighter by Christina Aguilera

The move you love to hate:

My favorite move to hate is definitely a plank of any kind.

What's one piece of advice that's stuck with you?

Pay attention and listen to your mind, body and heart. Follow your intuition, be intentional, and take charge of you. Sometimes happiness and growth requires you to challenge yourself and be uncomfortable with the unknown. Then, be patient, you'll see.
